Sales Manager - Sitetech, Rathcoole
Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. The core business is through the traditional Builders Merchants division. Main brands include Chadwicks, Cork Builders Providers, Davies & Telfords. In addition, and through organic growth and acquisitions the Group have established a range of brands which are close to the core but offer a uniquely different range of products. These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline & Sitetech.
Principle Objective
Reporting to the Managing Director of Sitetech, the Sales Manager is responsible for the Sales of Sitetech in line with the profit and revenue targets, overseeing the day to day running of Sales, developing, and implementing the strategy for growth.
Knowledge & Experience
An experienced business leader in a comparable role, preferably with industry knowledge.
5 + years in a similar position
Demonstratable ability to grow a business
Excellent communication skills with the ability to set a strategic vision
The ability to solve problems & make decisions, as well as think laterally & offer creative solutions
Key Responsibilities
This role is a key member of the Management Team of Sitetech and will contribute to the overall direction of the business and will contribute on all elements of strategy
Maintain and build trusted relationships with colleagues, key customers and suppliers.
Set comprehensive goals for the performance and growth of the company
Implement processes and KPI’s that promote operational excellence and the company’s culture of superior customer service.
Set and monitor sales strategy, ensuring the company is maximising growth opportunities in the marketplace and deliver the company’s sales, profit targets.
Oversee marketing initiatives.
Provide leadership and direction to the Sales team in Sitetech to maximise performance.
Ensure the company’s operations represent best practice and achieve best in class service levels to it’s customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Work with the Management Team to develop and implement effective processes and procedures to drive efficiencies across the business.
Drive a strong culture across the business, creating a highly engaged and motivated team, who understand their objectives and their role in achieving them.
Liaise with HR to develop colleague training initiatives.
Ensure best practice in our Great Place to Work strategy.
Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are being followed and improve processes and policies where needed.
