Reports to:      Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

 

Overview:

 

The FP&A team provide reporting and analysis for the Woodie’s business. The scope of this reporting & analysis covers all Finance-related activities including Budget Planning, Profit & Loss, Accounts Payable and Workforce Management.

 

Key Responsibilities – should be performed in line with the Woodie’s behavioural values ensuring day to day activities are showcasing our values and bringing them to life within the company. *         Identify areas for improvement within the finance function and develop new efficiencies to support the business and the better engine pillar.

*         Improve reporting capabilities by creating new reports or enhancing existing ones.

*         Proactively source new development opportunities for yourself to ensure you are kept up to date with the most recent industry advances.

*         Look for new and more efficient ways of working within the finance department.

 

Experts

*         Ensure daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting is provided to business stakeholders. 

*         Ensure effective data validation control mechanisms are in place. 

*         Pro-actively help to resolve any issues that affect the financial data integrity and/or its delivery to Finance stakeholders.  

*         Manipulate, import and validate data in various Management information systems.  

*         Up skill other team members on various systems used.

 

Helpful

*         Provide financial analysis and reporting information to business stakeholders.

*         Lead or provide support on financial analysis projects.

*         Support budgeting process - Prepare budget data with budget owners, load data into various systems, ensure data integrity across systems.

*         Pro-actively help to resolve any issues that affect the financial data integrity and/or its delivery to finance stakeholders.

*         Act as a point of contact to finance executives for any ad hoc reporting requirements

*         Support Finance Manager and provide cover for the other members of the Finance Team as required.

*         Continuously improve finance systems and processes

*         Communicate, verbally and in writing, complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

*         Support general efficiencies across functions.

*         Assist with Projects as and when required.

*         Communicate and respond to queries in a friendly and timely manner.
