About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for leading a team of three finance staff and overseeing key financial processes. The ideal candidate must be a fully qualified accountant with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three finance professionals.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Conduct insightful variance and performance analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across finance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and financial discipline.
  • Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Support the FD in implementing a new branch network for TGL and relevant internal and external reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE in a finance or management accounting role.
  • Proven experience in monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems
  • A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Kerridge ERP
  • Exposure to business partnering or strategic financial planning
