Hire Fitter / Driver - Roscommon

Role Objective:

Support the Hire Department Manager by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining hire equipment, and ensuring all safety and operational standards are met.

Requirements

• Experience in the Hire industry

• Skilled fitter with knowledge of plant/tools

• Full Category C driving license with CPC

• Strong maintenance and repair knowledge (electrical tools, petrol/diesel engines)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain/repair large and small plant equipment (e.g. mini diggers, mixers, drills)

• Conduct on-site repairs and PAT testing

• Deliver/collect stock; provide equipment demos

• Enter data in the hire system and manage tachograph compliance

• Ensure safety standards, shop/warehouse upkeep, and asset protection

Contract

• Permanent / full time
• 39 hours/ working week Mon-Fri / May be required to take part in the Saturday roster
• Location-  Lanesborough St, Cloonybeirne, Roscommon, F42 EK10
