About us

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our brand-new co-branded Sitetech and Panelling Centre branch in Ravenhill, Belfast.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including sales growth, team leadership, customer service and operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused leader with experience in the builders’ merchant or construction supply sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch
• Develop and implement a branch business plan to achieve sales and service targets
• Drive sales performance and identify growth opportunities
• Support and develop the sales team, setting monthly targets and development goals
• Ensure excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
• Work closely with the Regional Director to support branch development
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, organisation, and store presentation
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational controls are followed
• Monitor branch performance across key KPIs and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee branch administration and operational processes

About You

• Previous management experience (essential)
• Experience in a builders’ merchants or construction-related environment desirable
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive sales performance
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Good understanding of basic accounting and computer systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Third-level qualification in a commercial discipline desirable but not essential
