Principal Objective

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and effective operation of the warehouse. This includes managing manpower, driving operational efficiency, maintaining strict Health & Safety standards, overseeing stock control, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all warehouse and delivery functions.

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse supervisory role

  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment

  • Experience leading teams in a busy warehouse, logistics, or builders’ providers environment

  • Knowledge of kitchen or building products is an advantage

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the secure, efficient, safe, and smooth running of the warehouse, store, and delivery areas

  • Plan and allocate manpower to ensure operational efficiency and meet business needs

  • Drive high standards of housekeeping, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and workflow efficiency

  • Ensure all customers receive a professional, friendly, and efficient service

  • Oversee and resolve delivery, collection, and stock queries promptly

  • Oversee stock levels, stock accuracy, and reduction of variances

  • Work closely with internal teams to maintain optimum stock availability

  • Support efficient goods-in and goods-out processes

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to ensure high performance

  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential)

  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
