Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner will collaborate with relevant leadership and management teams to advance our People agenda, fostering a positive culture and high performance across the estate. Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, delivering high-quality results and people-centric solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead on all employee relations matters, including preparation for WRC/Labour Court cases.
Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date, forward-thinking, and consistently adhered to.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Support the delivery of the annual HR Business Plan, including participation in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.
Provide best practice coaching and guidance to management teams, striving for optimal outcomes.
Identify opportunities for development interventions, partnering with L&D to support colleague growth and business objectives.
Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Promote and support DEI initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace where all colleagues can thrive.
Act as a role model for our values and behaviours to reinforce our culture.
Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement. Essential Skills and Behaviours
Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, employee relations, and dispute resolution.
Understanding of the business, its strategy, and how HR contributes to organisational success.
Ability to coach, advise, and influence leaders and employees at all levels.
Proficiency in HR analytics and data interpretation to inform decisions and identify trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Acts with integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times.
Puts the needs of internal and external customers at the centre of decision-making.
Focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes and achieving objectives.
Knowledge & Experience
A Qualified HR professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in fast-paced operational HR role.
Experience of dealing with complex ER cases across a large multi-site business.
Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to achieve buy-In from managers and colleagues.
The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
