Role Purpose

The HR Business Partner will collaborate with relevant leadership and management teams to advance our People agenda, fostering a positive culture and high performance across the estate. Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, delivering high-quality results and people-centric solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead on all employee relations matters, including preparation for WRC/Labour Court cases.

• Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date, forward-thinking, and consistently adhered to.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

• Support the delivery of the annual HR Business Plan, including participation in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.

• Provide best practice coaching and guidance to management teams, striving for optimal outcomes.

• Identify opportunities for development interventions, partnering with L&D to support colleague growth and business objectives.

• Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

• Promote and support DEI initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace where all colleagues can thrive.

• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, employee relations, and dispute resolution.

• Understanding of the business, its strategy, and how HR contributes to organisational success.

• Ability to coach, advise, and influence leaders and employees at all levels.

• Proficiency in HR analytics and data interpretation to inform decisions and identify trends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

• Acts with integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times.

• Puts the needs of internal and external customers at the centre of decision-making.

• Focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes and achieving objectives.

Knowledge & Experience

• A Qualified HR professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in fast-paced operational HR role.

• Experience of dealing with complex ER cases across a large multi-site business.

• Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to achieve buy-In from managers and colleagues.

• The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
