Principle Objective

As a Goods Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. You will be responsible for representing our company in a professional manner and providing excellent customer service. 

Knowledge & Experience

• Ability to safely lift and move heavy Object.
• Manual handling certificate desired.
• Experience in delivery driving preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of building products, home improvement, or related industries is a plus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers' locations in a timely manner.
• Ensure all goods are loaded and secured properly for transportation to prevent damage.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service during deliveries, including assisting with unloading goods and answering any questions the customer may have.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and delivering goods.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any issues encountered.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including warehouse work or helping customers in-store.

Essential Competencies

• Valid and clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Tact and diplomacy
