18 Tonne Driver with HIAB Crane

Role Purpose: To safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers using an 18-tonne vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, maintain vehicle condition, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities 

Operate an 18-tonne vehicle with HIAB crane in accordance with safety and legal standards.

Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane, ensuring secure and safe handling. 

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues. 

Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and signed by customers. 

Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle. 

Follow planned delivery routes and schedules. 

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Comply with company policies and transport regulations.

Person Specification:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. 

HIAB crane certification and experience. 

Good understanding of transport and safety regulations. 

Strong communication and customer service skills. 

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

On-time delivery rate (target: ≥ 95%).

Customer satisfaction score (target: ≥ 90%). 

Vehicle defect reporting compliance (target: 100%).

Accurate completion of delivery documentation. 

Safe operation of HIAB crane with zero incidents. 

Adherence to planned delivery routes and schedules.
