Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service whilst at the same time optimising branch sales and gross profit.  Work effectively as part of a team ensuring that our customers’ expectations are not just met but exceeded.
  • Work with efficiency and accuracy – often under pressure.
  • Maintain & develop company culture, customer satisfaction, trade counter & delivery service.
  • Possess excellent customer service and sales skills both in person and on the telephone.
  • Take part in ad hoc meeting as requested by Line Manager or Director on occasion these may be outside normal trading hours.
  • Serve customers face-to-face on the trade counter.
  • Assemble customer orders and other warehouse duties when required.
  • General office duties including filing and scanning.
  • Additional duties as requested.
  • Account ownership – update CRM.

Knowledge, Expertise & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Hands on experience and knowledge of materials for mechanical services, plumbing, heating & air movement.

Desired:

  • Microsoft Windows & Office.
  • Kerridge K8.
  • CRM systems.
