Hire Sales
Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder's merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. Main brands include Chadwicks, Heiton Buckley, Cork Builders Providers, Panelling Centre, Davies & Telfords.
Principle Objective
To work closely with the Sam Hire Department Manager to ensure a high level of service to our customers while also adhering to high work standards.
Knowledge & Experience
- Comprehensive product knowledge with experience in the Hire industry
- Proven experience in a busy hire department
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a high customer service standard ensuring all customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner
Maintenance and service of our large plant items to include;
o Mini Excavators
o Mini Dumpers
o Road Compressors
o Vibrating RollersMaintenance and service of our small plant items to include;
o Cement Mixers
o Concrete Power Float
o Plate Compactor
o Poker VibratorsMaintenance and service of our electrical tools to include
o Angle grinders, Circular saw, Hammer drills, Breaker, Sanders.Maintenance and service of engine types
o Honda 4 stroke petrol
o Lister / Yammer 4 Stroke diesel
o Partner / Makita / Husqvarna Petrol 2 strokeAssisting in the general / day to day running of a busy hire department
On site repairs and breakdowns.
Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices adhered too.
Test and run for small fleet (pat test)
Maintenance and light repair on small tool fleet
Safeguard the assets of the company
Ensure all company policies are implemented accordingly
Be responsible for the safety of staff and customers
Responsible for the upkeep of the shop and warehouse
Assist in entering data onto the hire computer system

Contract Type
* Permanent
* Full time 39 hour contract
* Working week Monday to Friday, may be required to take part in the Saturday roster
